i have a f4i with a bannana seat. i will change the undertail, cowl, lights and put to seats. someone know if i will have to rectificate the exhaust? are the rear pegs okey with the new subframe? i have a original exhaust.

im in the middle of gathering the parts for the tail swap right now. all i have left to get is the rear seat and some of the hardware. the rest is either at my apartment already or in transit from ebay. i think the total i spent so far in parts is about 350 but i got an undertail instead of the stock plastic piece

 

NOONE CAN HELP ME? I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE TO MODIFICATE THE EXAHAUST AND THE REAR PEGS FOR MY CONVERSION. I HAVE A ORIGINAL EXHAUST. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!

 

im not sure if you have to modify the stock exhaust. the scorpion high mount i have was really made for the 01-03 f4i and i modded the bracked to fit mine so i know it'll fit the "new" subframe im getting. the pegs themselves will not fit and you will have to get the ones to fit the older subframe. you will need pretty much the whole rear clip of the bike as nothing is compatible except for maybe the exhaust

 

I did the conversion on my 05 F4i. I had to get the subframe, seats,undertail,rear pegs, tailight. I then got a custom undertail. Here are some pics.
