1) No cuts are crap and its been said a million and a half times on here n across the net.

2) Your bike will go down, its not if, its when!!!

Would you guys believe I had never heard of no cut sliders till I came here and heard yall beating them to death?

 

I don't have frame sliders on mine. But I will tell you I rather keep it without frame sliders than put no-cuts on. I've heard a LOT of bad about no-cuts. Ignorance isn't the key to the game if you are trying to protect your bike. We are giving feedback to help you, not tear you down. The chances of a favorable outcome from your bike being dropped and having "no-cuts" as your frame protection is pretty much 1% if not less. And this is consistent regardless of speed.

Anyhow, you prolly made up your mind and really don't care for our input. This thread should be closed...and I hope you never have to test those no-cuts.

 

Well, let me say this....Welcome to the forum. One thing I learned about any forum is to read and read and read about what others have done before you post anything, then you won't get hacked on as hard.

I can see you don't want to cut your fairings, and I was like the once a long time ago. Until the day I hit a gravel patch and had to replace a fairing for 550.00, much more expensive than replacing a frame slider. I didn't learn my lesson and I took my bike out on a warm day, but too cold for riding. Spring fever and my bike went down again, and another 550.00 fairing to replace it...again.

Then I got frame sliders and went down later doing wheelies, and my fairings only got one scratch and the frame slider took all of the impact.

So if you don't want to take any criticism, as mean as it may sound, they guys here are trying to help you. So take it for what its worth....Experience is the one thing in life you can't buy...You can't plan for an accident but you can prepare for it.

Good luck in your riding. And if this is your first bike, as stated you will go down, its just a matter of time when it will happen.



AND PLEASE STOP POSTING ABOUT STUPID NO CUT SLIDERS....THIS IS LIKE THE MILLIONTH POST ON THEM!!!!

 

since we are on the topic, is there anyone near chicago that knows/has installed sliders. i can use the help. peace.

lol.. Wow, you bought them in thought that they would protect your bike if you ever went down. But.. You say you don't care if they work or not, at least you tried them? Are you an idiot what was the point in even buying them in the first place. Go out and look at them.. and think about it for a bit. Your bike goes down, the bracket will bend back and snap or just press into your plastics anyways. Of coarse the reviews say good things.. but check out one person that has actually put them to use and ask for their review.

If you don't care what we say, and dont want to listen to our advice then why even be on here? Btw good job wasting 3 hours bolting these on.. How hard could it be.
