Does anyone have more information on these inserts? It seems like a heckuva big hole to go drilling in a swingarm. Pit Bull doesn't offer much information (that I can find anyway). Everyone sure that this isn't going to compromise the swingarm down the line? Stress concentrations can be a B#$^%!

Stuff drilling, I just got a length of hardened steel and inserted it into the hollow rear axel when I use the stand and when not in use just pull it out.

I like that idea. ALOT! Drilling the swingarm makes me queasy.

The hole is like 1/4 an inch, it is really small in respect to the swingarm. It will not compromise the swingarm. It takes about 10 seconds to do both holes. There is no reason to worry about drilling.

Right. I'm aware of the universal style stands. In my situation though, I have a little nook that I want to put my bike in. To avoid the 10 back-and-forth movements to get it in there, I've found some stands from Redline Engineering that have swivel casters so you can move it around any way you like. The downside is that spools are required for that stand....so here I am!
