Default swingarm and chain guard stickers

Some here may agree that the stickers on the swingarm and chainguard might look better just not being there. I've concluded that my 0'1 f4i would pop a little bit more without them so here goes....maybe taking them off with some tlc and a hairdryer? Then maybe some goo gone for the extra excess?

Who's with me on this one?

I've never done the hairdryer thing, but it might help. WD-40 works good for me. Remove the decal, and apply the WD to the adhesive. Let it sit for a while (soak in) and scrape it off with a credit card (or similar). Finish off with a WD dampened rag.

I used a razor blade and had no residue left over.

done and done....awhile ago...LOL...i also took off my vin sticker on the fame because i didn't like it....(and before the new guys scream about the vin...it's stamped on your frame up by the triple)....

using a hair dryer is a good idea when trying not to take the sticker off in little pieces as it allows the sticker to pull off easier....problem is you get the residue....i used a bunch of goo gone and got all the residue off and you can't even tell it was ever there...

some guy....i would be hesitant to use a razor blade, but i am really **** and if i knicked the paint on the frame or swing, i would be ROYALLY pissed....so considering both the hair dryer and goo gone take them off completely with no chance of scratching, that is the way i go....

BTW...VT...it's a great thing to do, you'll be surprised how a few stickers being gone will change the overall look of your bike...

Wow, while I could care how bad my SA looks (good and rashed already) i did not scratch the paint and I wasn't even trying to be careful. Anywho it looks much better without silly safety warnings and chain adjustments.
