im pretty sure most people do it just for looks or to do an undertail exhaust on the f4i. I dont think theres any real advantages to it.

ive always personally thought the 600rr swingarms are way better looking but yeah i dont know if id ever swap one on to my f4i. If it wasnt done right or half assed you could have some bigger problems to worry about down the road than just it being squeaky. So yeah go put the bike back the way it was supposed to be if you can.

Yeah you can get them to fit but you wont be able to just swap em youll need to use different spacers and a different axle. Not entirely sure how complicated it is or what exactly it entails so i cant help there. Im sure a little research would dig up all the answers you need to get that done though. Shouldnt be too hard to find out.

Very helpful I think i am going to keep it the way it is, going to pull back tire and polish the swing arm some there is old paint on it the main reason i am kinda worried it squeeks when you sit on it. Hopefully when i pull it apart and re grease everything it will stop. Today ill post up pics with a decent camera so everyone can see what i am dealing with definatley going to try to set my exhaust up like his though, kinda a work in progress taking care of the small stuff then either repaint or new plastics.
