I have an 04 F4i. I am looking to upgrade the stock suspension in the rear to start. I wantr to keep the bike, but also want to have a stronger rear end that can support me and my passenger a little better than stock. I have the stock suspension nearly maxed out. I weigh about 225. So with a passenger it is over the weight of the bike.

Other than losing weight and getting a lighter gf, what kind of suspension should I get. I was thinking ohlins but unsure which type or the specifics

 

Might just be a matter of getting a heavier spring for your stock shock. Try finding a motorcycle suspension shop (or guy) in your area and see what they recommend.
