STUPID CCT!!!!!!!
how do you get in there to adjust it?!Just installed APE Manual CCTIts making a weird noise and I dont know what to do, back it out or tightn it?! and how do you even get in there?!?!? I dont know if its ticking or what but it sounds really weird now
i did that but it was really really REALLY loud still like worse than stock CCT so I tightened it some more and started it and just used a wrench while it was started, finally got it perfect but its FREAKIN HARD TO TIGHTEN WHILE HOLDING THE OTHER DANG NUT TO STAY STILL!!!!! AHHH
Sorry just needed to vent, Im so irritated, Is the ticking loud whn its to tight or is it real quiet?

no...chimps are the shiznit...
if you did a search...you'll hear about the 2 views of APE vs. OEM.
as for adjusting...i know it's a pita...but just be patient..
install the cctl, then start up the bike...if it's too loose you'll hear the cam chain rattling...if it's too tight you'll hear some awful high pitch sound....
so...if you start and hear rattling...turn the cctl in (hold the lock nut) until the sound disappears, back out until you hear the rattling again...from here...go in until the sound is gone then 1/4 more...
if you start and it's high pitch, back out until you hear rattling and then do as above.
if you have circus hands...then have someone with small hands do it...you supervise.
