its underneather the rear seat against the frame its all black, i cant tell what it is and i really dont want to take off the rear plastics.

does anyone else have this black plastic box underneat their rear seat. (see pics)

i believe it just a relay box? when i took the seat off my 2001 f4i had 2 boxes on each side and also a heat synch....when u remove the seat u can flex the seat to move around those boxes...not hard..

 

i just wanted to see if anyone else had that on their 01-03 f4i. thanks for all the input i wasnt really sure what it was

haha not yet. nah that ziptie is only temporary until i get around to doing the trunk release mod.

and the other ziptie is for my leds that i put in my under tray that shine on my rear tire, i meant to cut it but i forgot.

It houses two relays. Not sure what for, but had to remount em when i did an undertail kit on my 02 f4i.
