Default Straight Pipe Question...

I don't like my neighbors and was wondering if it would do any major damage to run my bike without the can, like leave the stainles slip-on sleve and take off the can...

It will be LOUD as all hell and you'll be running rich. I wouldn't do it for a while, unless you can get some type of map done for it

Long term, might end up burning some valves

EDIT: Lean, not rich

definte sounds like a motogp race. i made a "gp" pipe for mine it sounds bad *** but its bad for long periods of time BUT if you wanna **** off the neighbors like i do to my harley neighbor thats the way to go, just watch the possible flame to the tire if you take the whole can/pipe off

That's what I thought but my yoshi muffler has pretty much lost all the packing but still quiets the sound. Don't know how much different the pressure would be if I just tossed the can...

If I was your neighbor I would probably come over and kick your bike over for being a dick

I ran my vette with open headers for an afternoon and it set off every car alarm I drove by. It sounded like the Gator Nationals. If you want toannoy your neighbors just play 'eye of the tiger' over and over...It drove General Noriega crazy.
