The adhesive is supposed to stick better when hot. If yours is coming off, I would suspect surface contaminants are reducing the effectiveness of the adhesive. That's why they have stuff written all over the packaging like "this is not a sticker" and "clean with alcohol 3x before installation"

i had them for a year or two and highly recommend them no problem with slipping even after a good wash. they make a world of difference because you can grip the tank with your thighs and thus relieves some pressure of your handson thegrips. and with my track pants oni canreally lockmy knee in the tank which helps when leaning.

I just ordered some tank tredz that should be here this week.I have no experience with tank grips and can't waitto try them out because my inner legs get REALLY sore on track days. I know Stompgrips are highly regardedbut decided to trythe tank tredz because they look better IMO.

Tried all 3 (Stomp, Tredz, and Gripster). Stomp gripped better IMHO, and it's the only one that did not slip at all in the hot summer when the bike was in the sun. The other two are removable and I had very slight slippage issues (very slight, but I noticed). I still have the Stomp on my 954 (clear) andjust ordered black for my 600RR.

YMMV.
