Read this.......

http://www.sportrider.com/tech/tires/

Otherwise.....there are wear bars on the tires, when you hit those......start looking for new ones, by the time you find what you want, and get them in hand......they'll be ready for changing. As far as OEM, they might be, if not who cares. Run what you want based on your riding style. Good luck. Tire shopping is fun. I'd recommend buying them online and taking them in for mount/balance if you cant do it yourself. You'll save a TON. Check here.

D207's come stock on F4i's, at least that's what mine had on it. That's probably the second set you have there now, maybe the third. Expect about 3-5k miles per set.

3-5K per set???? I run the pilot powers and heard of people getting 8-10K out of them. This is my first set of brand new tires, please tell me they will last longer than 3-5K.

Damn, this spots just gets more and more expensive!!

Yea man, 207 are the stock for your year. Looks like 01 to me. Someone has already changed them.
SpeedDemon12 is right, 4k miles is a good benchmark for new tires.
Metzler are good tires, Dunlop are ok.

Michelin Pilot Power you can't go wrong with them. But if you do more commuting looking into the Pilot Road.

Right now, I just bought some Pirelli Diablo tires and will change my Micheline Pilot Powers when they get balder. Pirelli saved me about 60bucks over the michelin

did you take an msf class??? lol they show you how to rear tire tread

also you should get more than 3k, i have pilot powers and ive put about 2500 on them there good for at least another 3k. i would say somwhere in the 6-8 range with them i guess depending on how hard you ride as well.
