I bought a lowering link, I know I shouldn't lower my bike. I took out the stock link before taking measurements so before I put it back together I want to know stock measurements so I know how much I stop it. Anyone have Any numbers or have the ability to take some quick measurements from the ground to something so I can get an idea of how much I drop it?

On mine (2002) when on the side stand I get:
Rear left peg @ bottom- 18.5
Rear right peg @bottom- 22.5
Tip of tail - 37.5

Just measured it up while on the side stand. And my tip of tail is 35 inches, bottom of right beg is 17.5 but bottom of my left rear peg is like 18. Something seems off I deff Didn't lower the bike 2 inches

 

I'll get someone to hold the bike straight up and measure again - and I'll get pics too.

Rear pegs were just over 21"


Tail is right at 38"


Sorry they are so dark, dumb Apple doesn't have a flash on the iPad- dumb me doesn't know how to lighten the pics... I even edited them on photobucket and they look lighter there.
