Stock Mirrors
Is it just me, or are the stock mirrors basicly useless? All I can see out of them are my arms. Why would Honda (or any other manufacturer) put a mirror on a bike that you can't see behind you with? From a safety standpoint it makes no sense. Anyone have any solutions to this problem?

RE: Stock Mirrors
All sport bikes have this problem to some degree.
Suggestion: Push your mirror rod farther forward (creating as close as possible a 90° angle with the body), then readjust the mirrors. That might help some. Basically, you want the mirrors sticking out as far as possible.

RE: Stock Mirrors
stinger95, I hope your joking about the mirror being useless on OUR bikes. I dont even look anymore before I turn because of them, I know its a bad habbit. However, its just that I have positioned them to a point where i can see the stuff that I WANT TO SEE. Our mirrors are very felixable, you have to adjust it to the dergee that you want.
If you see only your elbows its because of two reason. One, you did not set it up for your "riding position". Two, you should try to tilt the mirror outward. I not taking about pressing the bar back but the balljoint of the mirror. They do have the extended mirrors for our bike on ebay. Same mirror just with a longer bar. May you can check them out.
