are you sure you want to buy one? do you do alot of wheelies or have a sprocket setup that makes the front wheel lighter?
the way how i can imagine it working if its mechanical and not digital is fluid restriction going through valves which makes it hard to turn at quick speeds.
if you're going to get one get a nice one, and make sure you need it. if you are stock and getting tank slappers you may want to check out your suspension.
i know it wasn't the answer you were looking for but someone is bound to chime in here.

I do wheelies every once a while and yes, I do have a -1 sprocket up front which makes my front end light... I also do track days every once a while and some very spirited riding on the back roads and when I punch it out of the corners my front end wobbles.

I run a hyper pro but GPR and Scott are also good units. Some people prefer rotary style dampers such as the GPR and Scott. I think the GPR has a number which indicates the stiffness. Other types you just have to count how many clicks from full soft you are. The more your ride it, you will find if it is set too soft or too hard for your style of riding. I think I finally got mine adjusted where I like it.

i like the look of the ohlins and the hyper pro's better compared to the scotts and the gpr's but it seems like the gpr and scott would be less of a head ache. i guess i have a little bit to figure out what kind i want to get. and thanks for the info
