RE: Stealership!!!
Get a shop manual and learn how to do as much ofyour own service as you can. Not only is it cheaper, but it is fun. There are many smart people on this forum who can help you! Then you don't have to worry about the jackass at the stealership who wants to charge way too much and does a marginal job.

RE: Stealership!!!
See, I wanted to do all of it myself (if some grease monkey can do it so can I) but my dad was worried I'd screw it up and kill myself. I also needed a few more tools to get it done which would have been as expensive as taking it to the dealer. It was really just the rear stand i needed to since my neighbor could have helped me out I bet.

Either way it's always nice to have the option of whether you want to spend your time or money on whatever you need fixed/replaced. The couple hundred dollars you'll invest in tool will more than pay for itself very quickly. And the skills you learn will last a lifetime and are applicable to many other situations.
