Im having trouble finding a place that will pass the bike with flushmounts on it. I have the hotbodies flushmount front signals. Anyone have problems finding someone to pass their bike? Almost everybike i see has them on it and all i keep hearing is put the stock blinkers on and bring it back and it will pass. Its not a problem to do but does anyone else have to do this... It just seems like a hassle every year.

 

I dont know what it is like there. We dont have to inspect every year. I only had to inspect my 250 becuase there were title problems andI bought it from michigan. People put them on after a inspection.

 

Where are you going for the instpection? Usually, the state dmv tends to be hard@$$es. Take it to a bike shop, and they'll probably do the inspection for you for a nominal charge. ($35 in NJ)

 

Tell them you use hand signals.

Inspection for what??? We don't need any kind of inspections here in the CHI!

 

You could also wire up some LED's in the air ducts that are wired to the turn signals - I think it looks kinda cool too...

 

I just had mine inspected with flush mounts. I don't know what kind of inspection they do in Nebraska though. And the only reason I had to even get it inspected was because I bought it from Iowa.

 

Im in Pa, luckily I havn't had my bike inspected since I bought it 2 seasons ago.. I doubt my hotbodies undertail will pass... of course I have only got my permit last month.

 

here in mississippi the oil changes that do inspections don't even look at bikes they just start writing the info down on the sticker and it's only $5 here too[sm=icon_rock.gif]
