Best description, search pulls up many topics on this.... My bike is in the pics here... Ken P

I may be selling the complete conversion on my bike for $$ and someones blue banana seatparts.

I have about $600 and my old parts, about a total of $800 including paint and all.

I just wanted to add... I bought new seats, not used.... I had the subframe I bought glass beaded and clear coated... And used top shelf PPG 3 stage paint to match factory blue...

It can be done for less as others are chiming in about, but I didn't want tosettle for less than perfect.

It can cost alot ... I bought used seats and I just re-wraped them myself and when I did I put some gel material underneath for comfort.
And I also got my rear tail fairing painted wich WOULD of cost me about 380 bucks but my buddy owns a auto body shop, so he did it for free...
So this conversion CAN cost a hole lot but fortunately I know people that were able to hook me up.

my best friend has an 01 and he gave me his passenger pegs tail fairing and rear seat...soo that saved me tons...

as for what you will need...

sub frame, tail fairing, passenger pegs, seats, tail light, under tray and if you do the mod your cdi box just sits on top of the battery box and you will have to move your rectifier box but its all easy...just be creative if you need to...
