Default spark plugs not the problem?

well my bike has been riding like crap lately, so i changed out my sparkplugs 2 nights ago

turns out the previous owner put in the 600RR plugs, and they were fouled up pretty good

i replaced em with the reg f4i plugs cuz no one around had the RRs in stock

well now gas mileage and performance has improved (i did a power wheelie in 2nd) but... i stilll have a weird dying issue

randomly while im strolling up to a stop light my bike will start to idle funny(below 500k) , then die...anyone else have this problem or know the fix?

500 rpms? it's supposed to idle at around 1300k. Adjust your idler.

Have the battery and rectifier checked.

what does the rectifier do? i read the service manual but seemed kinda confusing on what im testing here

if i understand what it does, then i can make sure its functioning properly

It changes AC current from the generator to DC current for the electical and charging system.

It's responsible for 99% of all bike electrical problems.
