Some progress pics

Tore apart my bike the first day I got it. Its an 01 CBR F4i, looked like this when I got it:


Going to end up similar to this, but Flat Black and Gloss Red:

Still need to pick up new(used) fairings both sides and upper since they are cracked and I dont feel like fixing em. So if you have them let me know lol

Oh ya, Im going to be getting some flush mount turn signals, a double bubble windscreen, a Pimpbike.com undertail and ill be integrating the tail also

Looks like you gotta lotta work to do. Did you sand the tank yourself or use stripper or what?

The decals are clear coated over on the tank. I just took some 80 grit and took it down(to metal in most cases). I sanded with 220 and now I need to hit it with 400, then primer it.

There was damage on the fairings. That and its winter from September to about April here, so its not like I need to ride it. That and I always want to make anything I own unique. I spent my senior year of HS in a body shop, so I know how to do body work and Im pretty good at painting. Which makes it all fairly inexpensive. I can paint my whole bike for materials which is like 200$. My truck and my buddies wrx I painted:
