Default Smaller rear turn signals?

As you know, flush mounts exist in the front, however, short of an integrated tail, or undertail, there's no way to "trim down" the rear stalks.

I'm trying to save some money on my rebuild, and 90 odd dollars isn't practical when I have something that works.

I'm just wondering what you guys think I could do to bring the lights closer to the fender?

Well I probley won't be any help since my bike didn't come with stock signals in the rear so I honestly don't know what they look like. Could you maybe cut Down the stalk thing to make them shorter or cut it totally off and figure out how to mount it or maybe check eBay for some shorter aftermarket ones?

DOH! Aftermarket stalks slipped my mind! But I don't want to go with a new fender/plate mount.

I could probably just cut my existing fender down.... I think that's what I'll do.

Thanks!

I cut my fender down and I am wanting some good aftermarket shorties too. Ive been looking at some from 911moto tha look good and arent too expensive. I have also thought about running their flush mounts too but I dont know if they are decent quality or not.

When I did my homemade fender eliminator I had to solve the rear indicator issue, so I went with these. I know you said you didn't want plate mounts, but these are pretty low key and highly visible even in daylight. Got em at motosport for 28 bucks.

Bikebolts.com has pretty cool smaller LED signals for around 30 bucks.

Well, I think I'm going with a fender eliminator eventually, For the time being, I'm going to cut down my fender, and I think I'm going with an integrated tail light.

I'll probably just not light the plate, seeing as how it'll be plenty close to the tails as is.
