RE: SLIP-ON + K&N Filter= Power commander?
I've got a Jardine RT-1 slip on and K&N filter on mine and USED to have a PC installed on it. The bike definitely had a smoother power delivery and better throttle response but as far as better power I don't know. I had to disconnect the PC because it was causing my bike to shut off while riding it on bumpy roads[sm=jawdrop.gif].
Since it has been disconnected, bike doesn't seem to have as much midrange as before but barely noticeable, but bike runs just fine at all RPMS. Check with Micron to see if it is necessary to install a Power Commander, but I don't think that you HAVE to have it.
