The '06 has a crimped sleeve over the midpipe with the gasket over that.....Cut the crimped sleeve off? This is new for '06 according to dealer service tech.

I just bought one for my 05 1000, I should have it in about a week or so. When I install in I'll let ya know, but I know it will sound great, BTW it's an RS5 and it's a slip on.

Got it on my 04 Blade, sounds great but even with PCIII USB, not much performance gain, about 5 bhp on the wheels. Then tried to go full Yoshi system only to be told that I need a whole new system as the slip on don't work with the full system unless you add an expensive mid system. Have opted for Arata full titanium system for my 06 Blade.
