Good start there!

Do the search in F4i topics branch and I'm sure you will be able to find all answers.

Well any no cut is the way to go. I went with vortex, they use a Durlin puck which wont snap of at a high speed crash, they would wear down instead. saving you considerable damage. Anyways a very easy and accurate way to put your sliders on...remove your fairing. remove your engine bolt and thread in the new one you recieve with your sliders. then carefully place back on your fairing, aligning it and press on the fairing aproximelty where that bolt is. Then romove it quickly and u should see an imprint on the inside of the foam. Drill a small pilot hole in the center of that. Flip the fairing, tape off a 2inch by 2inch area. take a 1 3/4 inch holesaw ( same size as slider ) and slowly drill out hole. Dont go to fast or it will heat up and melt the plastic. I did it this way and it was a perfect fit!! Nevermind that bull**** laser method im sure you heard about. There is no error here, aslong as you line up your fairing correclty for placement, Good luck

I think you meant any cut is the way to go. You have vortex which are cut style. No cuts have no structural strength to them and tend to break and bend for what I have read.

Vortex!! They have detachable pucks so if you lay her down, just replace a cheap puck instead of the whole slider

Vortex and Woodcraft are the top two, and there are a couple others with equivalent equipment for similar prices.

Reminds me, I need a new slider puck after my minor fall.
