Default silver bolts on tail?

I've been trying to figure out what the purpose of these bolts are. My buddy with a 03 600rr asked me about them too. Told him I had no clue why they were there.

They're longer so you can use a bungee net to hold a bag or backpack to your rear seat.

Just grab the bolt with some vice grippers unbolt him.

After that, just buy some bolts with the same pitch but shorter. No more knee wrecking when mounting her...

In my case, they were a HUGE pain in the *** to take off, and yea they hold the tail to the rear subframe. Personally i don't mind them, but i have gotten a few questions about them. Since my new bolt kit came in, i don't think i'll be keeping them around haha.

Nick - I got those bolts lying around if you want them. They might be a little rashed up from when I laid my F4i down but they are straight. If you want em they are all yours.

I got tired of that happening after the second time and swapped them with the lower forward bolts...which I guess probably looks just as silly, but at least they no longer hit my knee where they are!
