Anyone know how to disable the sidestand switch if I removed my sidestand?

i believe that if you are looking right at your kickstand , directly to the upper left you will see the connection for this sensor. i could be wrong but i believe it is in that general area

Do I unplug the switch or do I have to bypass it in some way?

Why do you want to do that? Plan on riding with your kickstand down?

you should be able to just unplug it . i thought i remember reading in the "stunters" section there is a thread on this that way they can perform certian tricks that require the kickstand. but i believe just un plug it and ou should be fine. if not its easy enough to plug back in

cross the two wires and it should work just fine, if not the bike will cut off when you put it into gear

Ok, so the wires need to be jumpered. Thanks Woody. I haven't looked yet, but is there a way to do this without stripping the wires? I want to return to stock operation after my school is over.

I think there is a connector just a few inches up the wires from where they come out of the kickstand sensor, you might can find that type of connector to plug into the wiring harness end and cross it that way, not really sure

or actually it would be easier to cut the connectors out entirely, cross the wires however you want and buy new connectors at an auto parts store when you need them

Cut a short piece of wire and stick both ends of it into the connection so It runs a continuous circuit.
