I think I know who that is (not sure though) because that is where I used to live. Bike looks familiar anyways. But if its who I think it is, it looks pretty clean. Nice guy. But either way, like stated before, make sure someone who knew what they were doing did the maintanence. And keep in mind those parts will be kind of expensive considering the budget. Tires will be about $130 rear and $110 front ish. Prices depend on where you go. But you can find an F4i rotor off ebay for about $150 for a pair.

Patience comes to those who wait. I have an 02 and it had 3800 miles on it when I got it. I bought mine from a dealer and paid cash for it, and got it for 3500 with no work needed to it. So just to let you know, there will be deals out there but living in Florida, bikes are probably a hot commodity and everyone wants one. If it did'nt have so many miles on it, I say its not a bad price but if you could get him down to 3 grand then jump on it.

Seems really high for that many miles. I know florida is a mark up on bikes but that is really high imo

ORIGINAL: woodyracing

ORIGINAL: bigjoe87865

cbr f4i 2001 23000 miles

repainted, and is in good condition all around.... except its in need for a replacement brake pad and roter. and a rear tire has like 25% remaining

all for 3300?

but it is located a good 8hrs away in north florida... whereas im in south florida..

and i dont wanna spend more than 3,500 on a bike...

is all this worth it?
thats a lot of miles, make sure the valves were adjusted on time, and that ALL maint has been done
I wouldn't even consider buying a bike with that high milage unless he can prove all the maint was done, receipts and all
+1 on that. Good advice espcially since it's 8 hours away. I'd chill and see what else shows up. Stephens is right about being patience.
