I am looking tobuy my first bike and have found ared 2001 F4i CBR600. The bike is in great condition, clean title and had a recent tune upand has 17000 miles. He is asking 3800. Does this sound like a good deal? What things should be look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

 

Sounds pretty good deal. Honda engines last forever with proper maintenance.

 

Thanks, the only mods he has to it is a Zero gravity smoke screen, k&N filter and a Jardin exhaust. Should I just give him what he asks or offer a bit less, he says there a couple of small dingsand the mileage is a bit high. Thanks again.

 

Ask if you get a helmet or jacket. Tell him you can only get 3600 and see if he takes it. Otherwise his price is fair.

 

17000 for an 01 isn't high mileage, lol, this guy might let it go for less than 3800.

 

Not high, good price if good condition. As for the tune up did he have the valves checked? That is a must.

 

Thanks for the replies guys, I got it for 3600. Still need to do the valve check. I am in the process of taking all the fairings off and getting a custom paint job. I'll definently keep everyone updated with pics. Thanks
