Default Shabby Brakes

whats up guys, i have an 04 f4i and recently had to get some new rotors in the front.
i got some hbc's rotors but had plenty of meat left on the stock pads. after the switch my brake power had gone down and they squeak like hell. was wondering if i can eliminate the noise or do i need to swap the pads for something other than oem. if so what pads would do the trick?

No lube per say, but IIRRC thes a thin shim that goes on the back of the pads, doesnt come with the new pads tho.
