How do you guys attach a second helmet to your bikes (01-03)? When I had my kantana I used to just use the chin strap to attach it to the grab bar behind the seat....like the 04 up F4is.....what do you guys with the 01-03 tail do?

 

when you take of the passenger seat, there is a little hook on each side right by the huge cargo bolts that you can slip the metal D-rings on your helmet chin strap to. they hook into the subframe, then you let you helmet rest on the fairing, and put your seat back on. with the seat on, it locks the helmet to the bike. very handy, and i havent heard many people say anything about it scratching their bikes. heres a picture:



now it isnt where the arrow points to, but the funky shaped black things on each side where the passenger seat goes. hope that helps!

 

nice, i didn't even notice those...LOL my ol Can o tuna had one under the seat as a "helmet lock" Sweet deal the F4i has them at the rear so you can ride with a helmet latched in there. [8D]

 

yea it makes it pretty convient

 

yea, also bungee net helps... this way the helmet does not bounce around and scrap the paint.

 

i lost a helmet with the bungee net before =[ it slipped through the square after i hit a bump
