Ok need a little input on the bolt kit and wheel stripes, im going with a gloss black paint color and white factory stickers. I've ordered white frame sliders and am going to order the wheel stripes and bolt kit tonight.....thinking about going with a neon green wheel stripe and bolt kit. Give it a little pop lol in a subtle kinda way, or just go with white on all of it and keep it simple.

Also think that my rear springs pre-sets are adjusted all the way up, i can barely tip toe the bike and on my last F4i i could get half of both my feet down. Even my brother who is 6' 1" can barely flat foot it. Going to try and adjust it down and have ordered a lowering link for it incase i cant get it down a little. Had a lowering link on my F4, didnt really like it being that low but it was on the 3.5" drop and i could flat foot it. Going to set this one on a the 1.5" drop.....if i use it.

If i do white im just going to do the wheel stripes and get the bolt kit black, think the white bolts would not look as good as going with the green. Trying to find pics online of black bikes with different color bolt kits but not coming up with much.

Good looking bike for sure man. Good price. Can't wait to see it fixed up. Fayetteville, AR is right up my alley. I find quite a few nice finds on craigslist around my area. I just can't afford anything right now

Ouch, and I thought $40 a tire was pricey!

Been in the garage trying to get these decals off and here's the progress so far. These things are a bitch to get off, tried using the hair dryer and then went and got some extreme goo gone. Got one side done and will finish the other side tomorrow and take the fairings off. Going to start sanding Monday and hope to be painting by Thursday. Just going to rattle can it using the guide i found on here and clear it the way it says.

Here's some pics of the done side and the started side, also the new rubber. Only about 2 miles on them lol, wont be legal til Monday.

Well pulled the plastics and finishing up pealing these decals off, going to sand the sides today too. Glad to see the motor doesn't have pieces of metal missing lol from his lay down. Other than a little cleaning up, it looks like a relatively clean bike.

I bought a polished aluminum stator cover 2 weeks ago for the bike i was supposed to pick up in ark. now im debating whether to put it on here. Probably won't, it may look good with the black/white scheme im going with but the one on it is oem and doesn't have a scratch on it.

Here's what im working with today: The wet looking spots is the goo gone i sprayed a little to generously.
