ok i'm new to the forum. i've read alot of conversions about putting a rr tail with undertail exhaust. but i just want to install the tail section , is it possable. i have an 2002 f4i, i only want to know because mine is cracked. and i like the vents on an rr, if not i'll buy a new tail.

 

You can but you have to get a new tail end subframe to install it. And then are you going to change your exhaust to go under the tail or out the side?

 

its possible, but you have to mod it to make it work, for bolt on application-just do the f4i tail, if youre feeling like fabricating, try the rr tail

 

cool thanks for the input i could fab but, i think i'll stick with the stock look. cause i'm sticking with my exhaust it's off a r1, it looks good on the side. so thanks again.

a lot of fab work, it wont be a bolt on deal, but basically any idea you can get it under there would work, just consider the heat factor under the seat
