SOOOO..... at any rate I call and talk to him and decide to buy a few parts off this guy ask to pay via paypal you know for some kind of protection says he doesn't do paypal. Well, I wasn't comfortable but decide to send him a money order and well parts showed up today. Parts are all junk nothing is complete and or damaged. He got me for 250.00 and now I still need the parts to boot. I'm so sick of people like this. If he wasn't so far. I would show up at his house. I'm tired of this I'm on a budget right now as is with this build as I have my money out in other ventures right now. I'm just venting I guess. Thanks

 

wow... spelling errors and craigslist so far away from you? no offense, but you should have known better... I only deal face to face, ebay or from people I know. too much scum out there...

 

Its a known fact. Craigslist is hit or miss. When he said no paypal that should of really raised a red flag

Not doing paypal= not a big deal. I don't use paypal.
Saying its an 07 F4i = bad news
Buying from somewhere many states away = worse news

 

No paypal is ok if youre doing a face to face transaction, but ordering stuff? He could have not sent anything and there would be very little you could do about it.

 

You sent some random dude a money order? Even on forums you gotta be careful. Ask for several pics of each part. Craigslist is for face to face transactions.

 

I should have been cautious but I have had a lot of good luck too. I try to not think every person you meet could be a fn scumbag. I prefer to find out first.
