RE: Rims
if the rim's not bent so bad... it would be better to bring it in to get fixed. Is it only the outer edges bent or is the center of the rim bent too? If it's just the outer edges, then it'll probably cost you $50 to get it fixed. That's what a local shop quoted me on my bent rim.

RE: Rims
I paid $150 to have my bent rim repaired, and I hunted for over a month for a good price and reputable shop. I had a lip bent, and the rim was not true, meaning when looking at it from above and spun it, it would move left to right.
ddaren, you got lucky for that price, I would never have bought them though, becuase I would be too scared to get more bent rims.

RE: Rims
you i'm kinda scared when it comes to buying parts on ebay... cuz there's usually always something wrong with them. The $200 powdercoated rims seemed too cheap to be true... but when I got them in, they were perfect and exactly as described. I guess that's the deal of a lifetime for me... never getting one of those again.
other than that... look up craigslist and local ads for stuff. There's always a bunch.
