Default Rim Strips

Hey Im new to the street bike world, I made way over from the dirt finally. I just bought an 04 f4I (pics soon to come)and the guy before me had the rims chromed dipped, I like the look of the rim strips but I haven't seen any on chrome rims yet. Does anyone have a pic or is it just plain ugly.

I'm saying either chrome or black w/ strips, not both

yeah... usually... people with stock black rims add in the rim stripes to make it look nicer in a cheap way. Those with money and time either chrome out their entire rim, or try and polish it completely on their own.

I honestly like bikes with chrome rims when they have a dark color paint job with chrome to match it (black RR's with chrome rims are nice to me). But in my case, I have a black/red F4i... everything on my bike is either black or red... having chrome rims on mine would look ugly in my opinion. I'd rather stick with my red stripes, or powder coat the entire rim red.

yea that might destroy the look of the powder coat wheel....
i think its hot when the rim of the wheel is chromed and the spokes are black or yellow....

So if I bought rim strips for my factory black wheels, I don't have money or time and my bike looks good in a cheap way??!!
I think they look good, in a good way and I bought them in the reflective style for extra visibility of my bike on the road.
Saying they might be overkill addingrim strips to a chrome rimor saying you don't like the way they look is one thing. But to tell people they are cheap is way off base. Chrome is way to bling for me but I wouldn't call someone out for doing it.

Get rim stripes...pay the $15...spend the 30 minutes to put them on...If you don't like them...spend 10 minutes taking them off...you only pissed away $15... that is less than 1% of 1% of what my divorce cost. IT IS A BARGAIN!!!
