Riding in the wind?
I live in the desert andon windy days I have trouble staying in one lane. most of the time I release the throtle lean in the direction I need to go and hit the throtle. Can anyonegive me some pointers?
I know what you mean, riding on really windy days make me a little nervous. Especially higher speed freeway riding. I think I do the same. I lean into the wind to try and compensate. Sometimes I think a bike with more weight would be a little more stable in these conditions.
I get blown around A LOT! I have a lot of weight on my bike too, 220lbs. During those really windy days it seems like I'm the only bike on the road that is getting affected with it. I get blown by a huge gust and my bike is leaned way into it then I go back upright again. I never see anyone else having that happen to them.
I've been blown around by some pretty big gusts and find that riding in the center of the lane is the easiest way to go. That way you can be gusted a couple of feet in either direction and not worry about crossing lanes.
[:@]hell yeah the wind SUCKS, know where it sucks even worse?...............at the top of a tall bridge!!!!!!! man, i am 5'9' and weigh around 140lbs........the bike goes where it wants when the wind hits it, lol. i just gotta try to compensate like a motha!
