I'll ride down to about 45 degrees. Colder than that and i'm cagin' it all the way. Don't like cold tires and numb fingers. But that usually means i can ride from about April to December around here...not exactly year around, but more than just 'summer'.

Rain or shine, I ride my bike everyday except when it's 35-40 degrees outside & it is raining.

Riding in the rain is a blast, you just have to adjust accordingly.

I ride year round. There is no way I could put the bike up for months and months. In the winter, I don't ride if there could be ice on the road or a bunch of salt. So that does limit the riding, but I don't let just plain cold stop me.

That's why they make heated gear.

My husband and I ride all year round. We have both winter gear and summer gear. As long as there is no snow or ice on the roads, we're out! Under armour, warm gloves and layered pants! Not much can keep up in!

I've never actually heard someone complain about living on the Cape. That's pretty much the equivalent of complaining about having too much money.

I ride rain or shine. IMO, you don't ride unless you ride in the rain.

I said summer riding, but I do ride during the winter enough to where I don't have to winterize. Yeah...I'm a little soft, but my wife says I have pretty hands .
