Wiring is not complicated, though people make it out to be. I'll save the wiring help as I am getting ready to tackle this project myself in the coming days/weeks when I have a chance. Others who have done it may chip in though or give a photo or something. It's really simple to do and can be done on pretty well anything.

I haven't completely scoped out yet or even bought the stuff. May take me a week or two before I even get around to the project but if no one posts something before then, well then I'll jump on and do that. There's many ways to do it. from wiring it directly into the lighting system to using a toggle and more. You can use doublestick adhesive from something like 3M to keep from any drilling. The trick is hiding the wiring and keeping it safe from damage. I get LED lights from free so will definately get on the project, just working 50hrs and going to school 25hrs a week the time slips and is scarce.

Keep in mind there is no geniune yellow LED. They'll all look amber like an LED turn signal.
Also, fallen is right, it's super easy. The wiring is simple - just search here or Google or lighting sites how to do basic car 12v hookups. It's exactly the same on a bike. Then, you just need to find good places to mount the lights and run the wires away from moving/hot parts.

since some of you expressed an interest in seeing exactly what i did... it's not pretty, but none of this is even noticable from more than a foot away.
there's probably some way to tap into the accessory wire or something so it only comes on when the bike is on, but i'm impatient so i ran a wire straight from the battery to my switch.

from teh switch, 2 wires come out.. one to each of the 2 distributor boxes (each blue box controls 2 lights). this is a pic of hte one in the rear. as you can see, the wires to the lights form the box go through pre-existing holes. btw - notice the bolts (i told you it wasn't pretty).

how the lights mount under the rear fender. the metal brackets are from home depot and they're like a dollar for 10 of them.

i could only mounta light on 1 side under the bike, so it's a little unbalanced.i still like it. the other blue box is located in the middle fairing as far away from the header as possible

mounted 1 right under the radiator. if it's too visible from the front, cover the front of the bulb with electrical tape, or mount a "cover" infront of it.

here's the link to the auction where i got the lights from
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180164135234
again, this cost me a total of $18
lights - 2 sets of 2 = $16
metal holders = 10 for $1 at home depot
tiny bolts = $1 at home depot
that's pretty much it.

I got all my stuff from www.oznium.com great website and the **** is reall cheap. I did everything the long way to save money so i soldered led's and resistors together. If you are nto good at that, then get the prewired leds and they should be simple to install. This is what i sent to someone who pmed me about installing the led's. I hope this helps but i dont have pics of the process.
I parellel wired all the led's together, which means all the negatives go to eachother and all the positives go to eachother. For the + wiring, Start from the battery( with a ring terminal), Then go through a fuse box and a 3amp fuse(radioshack), then go to a switch(radioshack), Then goes to all the + leads of the led's. On the + leads of the led's, you need to solder resistors to if you dont have the prewired ones(which save ALOT of time). For the - wiring, You start at the battery(with a ring terminal), then go to the - leads of the led's. Thats pretty much it. and make sure to heat shrink and electrical tape all your connections so they are waterproof. If anyone has questions, feel free to reply or pm me about it. I think its a fun project to do and while your doing it you can test your led's with a 9volt battery instead of hooking it up to the battery of the bike(which i did last). Just make sure your resistors are on the led's or you will burn them out, which i found out the hard way.

Just enough LED guy. Not to much at all. I'm going to put two where the previous owner had strobes above the headlight and hook them into the head lights. I'm going to be living in the mountains so I kind of have to so people can see me.
Joe-Florida makes great qualities LED. He's on Ebay and the web. I hooked up a set for my Uncle on his Harley and boy did a a couple LED go along way with there kit. Plus everything was all there. I hooked up another kit for this girl she payed $64 for her kit and it was crap. LED where coming out of the tube. Didn't come with long enough wiring, had to go get a wire with a fuse holder, get a toggle case (u should of seen what they gave her) and glue to install the LED. Just a pain. Joe-Florida one took no time and no confusion but the other one took all after noon. It was $56 for 36 leds (140 total pc kit) for the Joe-Florida one. You can also get a remote and other add-ons. I'm getting the 10 LED kit for $24 and comes with everything.
Use a toggle. Don't run to the fuse box. If you get the right kit it will have a fuse between the battery and the toggle. Plus since LED use I think only 3 AMP some run it to the Headlights so when you turn on the Brights the LED will come on.
I just don't like when people have LED everywhere! I detailed a custom chopper and he had at least 100 LED. Instead of showing the detail of the bike at night it was hiding the detail.
Everybodies I've seen on here look great! Definetly different styles.
