Default Repsol Replica

Well to make a long story short, I was looking for a wrecked f4i for a track bike to complement my 05 F4i street bike. I found a local club member with a wrecked 02. I ended up leaving it streetable to preserve some value and re-use some existing pieces, and since it needed pretty much everything painted, it was a blank palette. I was really digging the orange rims on the Repsol MotoGP bike, so I went with that (no Nicky Hayden envy, plus he wasn't doing as well when I made the decision as he is now). I got the stickers from alloutgraphics.com (very helpful and good service), all the paint in rattle cans from color-rite.com, and used a 2-part clear, Dupont Chromaclear I sprayed with a spray gun. All the stickers are under the clear. I didn't put on all the sponsor stickers, especially across the bottom, because they didn't fit the same as on the 1000rr.

I also did the 600rr swingarm mod with the intention of going with a centermount exhaust. The subframe on the 600rr and the f4i frame don't match up, but I'm not giving up just yet.

It's not 100% complete but you get the idea. It's been to the track twice and gets lots of attention, especially with all the black and primered bikes there.

And to answer any lingering questions, YES I know the Repsol Replica is a 1000RR.
