Default Repsol bodywork

Has anyone here done this (or any complete bodykit) off of eBay? They are from Hong Kong But I didnt know if anyone has had a set...or know anyone who has. Is the quality bad (as I would assume) or are they decent?

I dont have a set on my personal bike but have helped put a set on a friends bike and I have to say that it fit amazing. It was very good quality and was just amazed at the fitment. Now take it, some of the holes were not perfect in alignment and needed to be opened just a hair bigger but other than that it went smooth as butta!!! I am getting a set for myself after I lay my current bike down a few times. (its gonna happen from stunting it) And these seem to be a very good quality and cheaper replacement than OEM.

I've seen a few of these kits & I have to say that I'm very surprised at quality & fitment. Keep in mind, I've only seen 3-4 of these kits...so not totally representative of the entire line. As stated already, from what I understand from the owners, holes were required to be "adjusted" but worked fine. My only issue w/ these kits is the shipping cost & lack of customer service. If you get a piece that is outta spec or damaged, good luck getting replacement. If you can get a set via a local (USA) company that will guarantee the set, then by all means, go for it! ;-)

yes i installed the repsol fairings on my f4i. they are of decent quality. the only mods that it needed were the holes on the top cowl needed to be opened up a little. other than that once the gas tank gets painted it should look alright.

I still say http://www.nicecycle.com/ ( where i got my stuff ) is great there located in MI great communication, and fast. the only problem i had was the front cowl the holes for the wind screen needed to be drilled a little cause of the finish. other than that it was a great consumer experience

i bought the cheapos off ebay, and paid ballpark of $700. I wish i had know about them before (Martins), they have sweet styles and i guarantee they are better than hong kong junk.

long story short the fitment was ok, they flare out on the sides and i accidentally scrapped on part off. the tape from their packaging even pealed some of the paint off, but it was pretty minor. all n all they are a little tough to get on and 1 hole was way off. everything else was pretty good.

I've recently bought the "cheap hong kong junk" and couldnt ask for more out of a non oem kit. Most holes had to be enlarged, which was no problem. The paint n clear was very nice, and thats coming from someone who used to paint cars for a living, and is very picky. My kit did come with heat shield, which wasnt mentioned on ebay page. The only thing i didnt care for was that the stickers are all under the clear coat so they are pretty much permenant..... All n all its well worth the cost.
