Default Replacing F4i Tachometer?

I just bought an 01 f4i as my track bike, right now its in bad shape, bent forks, rashed fairings, etc. The tachometer portion of my gauge cluster doesn't work, but everything else is ok (odometer, speedometer, etc.), how easy is it for me to just fix this part? I need to fix it anyway because the plastic cover to the tach is broken too. I want to avoid replacing the whole cluster because of the odometer reading. If this is possible does anyone know of where I could order the part and/or directions on how to replace it myself? Any help would be great, thanks.

Eric

Default RE: Replacing F4i Tachometer?

I dont think the tach is replaceable by itself, could be wrong though[&:]
I would start by takeing the small cover off of the back of the cluster & see if one of the small conecters has pulled loose.
The plastic cover is replaceable, check this link http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_03...30&parent=5220
