Default Repairing Plastic?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick way to do a patch job on my upper fairing. I bought my f4i used and the front right turn signal mount is cracked and I would rather repair it than buy a new front fairing. I was thinking of getting one of the ABS plastic patch kits, and just patching the inside of the fairing and putting the mount back flush with the rest of the fairing (it sticks out a little).

Anybody have any recommendations on what to use or where to go?

Im gonna be doing mine soon too... im gonna use Plastic Weld (like in the link that Jaybird sent you. I heard that fiberglass doesnt stick to the ABS that great, but i havent heard the ABS Glue. Is that the same thing as the Plastic Weld Tohoe? Becuase the Plastic Weld is a two part Apoxy looking tube...

I've had some strength issues w. load bearing parts using Plastic Weld. Don't know if it's my technique or the product. Is Plastex better for parts that need strength (mounts, etc.)?

Another good two-part product is PermaPoxy made by Permatex. I've seen a step by step procedure on one of these boards where someone used it. I've found it at WalMart and Napa and it works great!
