WTF AM I DOING WRONG lol!!!

thanks alot guys.

Sound like the cable has came loose or broke. You can take the under tail off to get it to.

try taking off the seat and maybe you can see back in there with a mirror and a light. maybe something is keeping the latch from moving.

make sure ur lifting it up from the back... it comes out with the back raised then moving it towards the back of the bike... then if that doesnt work do the things they suggested

I know mine never pops up automatically when I turn the key. It always takes 2 hands, one turning the key and holding it turned, and the other one lifiting up on the rear of the passenger seat. Good luck with it!

i took the undertail off and to my suprise nothing was broken...the key switch works and the cable is intact but the problem is that it must be a replacement cable and there is too much slack....the key isnt pulling enough to fully unlock the latch. i guess i need a shorter cable or something.

pretty weird

yeah it doesnt come up no matter how hard i pull....the cable just has too much slack to pull the latch. i didnt see any way to tighten/adjust the cable so i put it back together and went inside feeling useless lol!
