Default Removing front seat f4i?

Noobie question here, i always wondered how to remove my 2001 f4i front seat.. I havent seen the battery yet, in 4 months im wondering what it looks like lol

on back of the seat, pull up/fron the corner (a lil bi w\you hand) you'll your going to see the two screw/..!

Yup, the fat side of the seat actually each corner folds a bit and you can get a screwdriver in there and there is one on each side. it's pretty simple.

It's supposed to be held down with screws??

These are the things I love about buying used.

yeah exactly...mine is held in with 2 10mm bolts, except one has a built in washer head and the other is a separate bolt+washer! ....

lol when i bought mine my seat was held on with zip ties

no wonder this build is taking me so long... gotta fix allllllllllllll the other guys mistakes... plus do the stuff i want lol

Yeah the seat should be held down with 2 10mm bolts with a built in washer. Well at least mine is.

Lol im in the same boat as you! I dont know how the previous owner lost so many screws. Im in the same boat as you, my bolts dont have built in washers, where can i get another 10mm bolt? homedepot i guess?.... Anyways i got the seat off and everything was good to go, but where is the air filter located? under the gas tank?

yup under the tank it is...

fyi bikebolts.com is a good place for new fairing bolts

All jokin aside, I keep zipties in my bike for situations that pop up.
