remove the front fender?

Default remove the front fender?

WTF HOW??

How do you get the front fender off without taking the wheel off?

I'm trying to remember...pretty sure you undo all the bolts and squeeze the back side of the fender while pulling up and forward. It takes some effort.

that sounds like it would scratch it a bit...

ok...well more importantly...how do i get the new one in without scratching the hell out of it?...lol

try stickin some rags on the outside of the fender... and once you squeeze it through... remove the rags....

I've always just squeezed it through. Didn't really care if that part got scratched, you can't see it anyway.

+1 on the squeeze. I've taken mine off, painted it, then put it back on. You'll scratch it slightly but as Akin said you don't see it. The scratched part is hidden by the fork coming down.

I'm all about not scratching things, but in this case someone would have to remove the fender to see the scratches...

just take the wheel off, it adds 5 minutes to the whole deal
