Try a Clear Alternatives taillight and turn signals kit. Looks good and makes it look cleaner.

Depends on if you care whether you want people to know your turning or not, especially in the day time. Yeah they are neat, not that visible.

i have the clear alternatives taillight mentioned above. i agree with rod that they aren't quite as visible, and i was pretty skeptical at first, but i've had friends tell me they can see them rather well. i guess i take their word for it, but i drive a little more defensively anyways. can't be too careful, sometimes it doesn't matter how big your signals are.

also, i've had a police car behind me several times without being pulled over even though in Cali you need to have the signals 9 inches apart or something. check your local laws.

you can see what it looks like in my photo album. i definitely like how it cleans up the tail...

they look cool. I have a set of those.
However, I dont know of any state in the US where the intergrated tail lights are legal. Every state has some clearance rule about how far your turning signal should be from the brake light (for Bikes, dont know about cars).

Ive been told by several people that its not hard to see my signals...and so far I havent had any problems with spacing, my bike also passed inspection with it it.
