not enough clearcoat but looks good.

 

it was 4 coats...it just never leveled out, i dunno what i could do to get it even and shiney

 

If you have 4 coats of clear, it is now time to wet sand with 1500 followed with 2000 and then rub with 3M Finess(sp), It will shine then.

 

whats 3M finess?

 

Go to your automotive paint supplier or automotive parts store. It is a very fine rubbing compound. It is also great to use to polish plastic lenses like your taillight, head light, turn signals etc. But, it is designed for rubbing out clear coats. When you wet sand, use a block,( like a sponge) so you don't rub in too deep where your fingers are pushing on the paper.
