i have metzlers. came with the bike.. and i dont know how to rate the tire ha, its held the corners(not much only 2 turns by my house i can really lean it over) decent in the rain, but ive never gone over 50mph in the rain.
it broke loose on me only once the ground was kind of damp still and i got on it a bit too much in first only got a small rear end shimmy

I have the dunlop sportmax that came on the bike from new. The rear end has slid out on me on a couple of occasions, both times while turning left, but not so bad that it scared the crap out of me. These tires are lasting! I have nearly 7k km on them now and the flat ridge has only just become noticeable. It seems wasteful to replace them before they need to be but I really can't wait to buy some pp's or diablos.

Oh, as far as rain goes with Pilot Powers, last weekend I made a trip to maryland and it rained halfway there, and I still did 80+ with no problem.

college park...muahahhaha...has some crappy roads from what i remember!

slip...strada is more of a sport touring tire but still have good grip...diablo is the 70 street/30 track tire, corsa is the 30 street/ 70 track tire. then you get to the supercorsas, etc...

i ride hard at the track and even the diablos have held just great! corsas...oh...now that's something else...i haven't had the need to go any higher since i'm slow. i'm not sure if corsa IIIs are dual or not though.

charlos...you baller with them dragons!?!?!?!?

try the diablos, will give you better feedback than the pp.

gsusfrk...head over to the diablo line...i think the stradas will work good for you. if you're ok with only getting 5K miles then go with diablos.
I'm getting a set of dragon EVO take offs from a friend. we'll see how those work out on the streetbike. does feel like a waste flatspotting SCP's on the street.

seems like enough guys use the SCP to keep a pretty healthy supply of good condition take-offs around. and tigershark has em for reasonable prices too...

i do have to get rid of the michelin men on my track bike though :P
