I've actually been interested in these fairings as well. My bikewas dropped and there are a few scratches/cracks. Instead of replacing the particular panels,I thought it'd be cheaper to replace everything with these fairings. My main concern is the safety though. Do they pose any threat to the integrity of the bike, or is the material reallysolid as well?

jusy wanna let you know that i received my auctmarts red/white fairings they look good except for some very paint runs that you cant realy see. shipping was quick ordered them on the 2nd and got them tuesday 08/07/2007. i was surprised how fast they got here. ill post something once i install them tell you how tehy fit.

well there is a way around melting or bending cuz of heat!! Plastic will melt with enough heat! anyway!! Im going to be putting on heat shields on the inside because the headers are so close to the plastic and thats where most of the heat is comming from! Even the factory V plastic has a heat shield on it!!!

yeah i just ordered the white and red theme from actumarts its been a week so far got a tracking number from them and conforming to their post office website they should arive in the next 3 to 4 days. ill post pics and any ossues ill have with them as soon as i put them up.
