Default F4i vs Race Replica

Hello fellas and ladies,

I have a simple question really;

What is the real diffrence between the 600F4i and 600rr?

I mean, are they really that much diffrent? Are the motors the same? Gearing? Is it noticeable when riding?

totally different bikes...
go to the dealer and look at them side by side.
the biggest thing IMO is the suspension. The rear swing arm ...inverted forks...lighter

On and on....
The motors are close and they are both Honda's [sm=smiley20.gif]

just go to honda's website they have pics and specs of both bikes, then go to a dealership and look at the 2 side by side

the F4i is actually geared lower than the RR strangely enough, not really sure why but the RR has more power
the RR also has a thinner engine to make the bike more narrow
the F4i has one solid metal gas tank, while the RR has a plastic cover over its tank

i rode my RR today for the first time in a WHILE and it feels really small and light compared to the F4i

On the insurance thing. When i first got my f4i they told me that the rr and f4i have the same insurance price. This was through progressive and geico. To them they are the same bike. Riding comfort imo is the major thing because either way it goes they are both sport bikes that can kill you in 0-60 in what around 3 secs or so. So hop on the both of them and see which one feels better.

For street riding - F4i all the way
For 90% street 10% track - F4i all the way
For advanced track users - 600rr

I say ADVANCED because it takes quite a bit of skill to use the extra edge the RR has.

Ok then, so i didn't make bad choice with the F4i. Sweet. I got a hell of a deal. I was going to wait untill net year to get a bike, being that I live in Maine and the season is basicly over now, but I got offered this 2002 CBR600f4i with 5,800 miles on it for 3,400. I Snatched it up without thinking, basing my purchase on Price alone, i hadn't even ridin it untill after I bought it. Now I love it
