Quiet exhaust options

Can you list some of the quieter slip ons available for the F4i? It's an '06.

Stock. Yoshi RS-3 has a sound dampening insert. Never heard one with it in though.

I would just buy a Honda Rebel

Too loud.

You ARE a madman. It doesn't get any quieter than stock.

vangill Jun 20, 2010 09:22 PM

yeah, stock

I fail hard.

Looking for deeper/louder than stock but not so loud as to wake up papa bear when dropping off his fat, drunk, daughter.

I hear some slip-ons that are really loud and I don't want to end up with that.

I had the yoshi RS3 with the insert. Its quite at idle but sounds deeper for sure. But even with the insert it can get loud if your WOT. Anyways I took my RS3 and cut like 6 inches out to make it a shorty and left the insert in. Sounds really good and still not overly loud at idle.

Stock = stealth

Have the stock can on my 06. I actually love it. I have other things to grab attention when I want (LED kit).

Slip-on and quiet don't usually go in the same sentence. It's just that some slip-ons are far more loud than others.

My vote - if you want something different than stock but something that still falls into the quiet category - is to chop your stock exhaust down.
